ICT Business Applications Project Manager

Essential Job Functions

The Information Communication Technology (ICT) department is a solution focused Business Unit supporting the diverse Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. businesses across the globe in alignment and management of strategic goals. As the ICT Business Applications Project Manager, you manage projects for the department providing effective and efficient end-user support, as well as, deliver value-added projects and changes across all domains of the technology landscape.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Help deliver challenging projects on schedule and within budget, while satisfying agreed business requirements and specifications within the scope of the project.
  • Responsible for the full lifecycle project management (initiation, execution and closing).
  • Support the translation of business requirements into ICT solutions, with the main applications being SAP and Microsoft based.
  • Identify the objectives of projects. Mobilize the necessary internal and external resources, assemble a cross functional project team, identify appropriate. project resources, and provide guidance and direction to project team members.
  • Build a network within our different business units and support them where needed.
  • Mainly focus on SAP projects (new implementations, upgrades, functionalities, maintenance) but also application lifecycle across other applications and technologies.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • A minimum 5 years' experience in project management with at least 1 full lifecycle SAP implementation project.
  • Strong knowledge of integration across all SAP modules (logistics, production and finance).
  • Structured approach to projects with a qualification in PMI or Prince 2 Is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and able to communicate in a clear and concise way.
  • Must be diplomatic in all interactions as well as a seasoned problem solver.
  • A positive attitude is required to be successful.
  • Flexible and proactive to provide realistic business solutions.
  • Self-directed and capable to deliver time critical work products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
